What Did I Watch: All That Jazz.
Where Does He Fit: If you allow yourself to get swept up in the increasingly epic emotions and deranged stylings of All That Jazz, you will probably find yourself panicking a bit during that final number, thinking you are going to have a heart attack yourself from watching this nutjob perform how he thinks he’s going to die. Editing wise, this is a fucking feat for the ages, and considering it’s all about editing the damn thing you’re making that seems fitting. Sure, it’s hugely rooted in some narcissism, but when it looks this good who gives a shit? Roy Scheider is just terrifying but so alive, and you never doubt for a minute this man could’ve made Airotica.
Most Valuable Asset: Rhythm. Music. His girls. Who could ask for anything more? (Apologies for lumping him in with that shit movie.)
Most Excited For: Lenny.
Did They Deserve a Spot?: Oh yeah.
